What's in YOUR attic?

NOTHING ELSE MEASURES UP!

The insulation system that  Admor uses was designed and first used in 1977 in Tampa. Florida. It is now used by insulation businesses and contractors all across the United States.  Stabilized cellulose is also known as  S.A.B. (Spray Applied Blanket), a product that has revolutionized cellulose insulation and the entire insulation industry. Millions of bags of cellulose insulation products are in use in millions of homes nationwide. The success and continued growth of S.A.B. is a direct results of producing a superior product and providing excellent service to customers for the past 20 years. Made with primarily all natural recycled materials, our cellulose insulation is more efficient, softer and safer to handle than other man-made mineral fiber insulation. And by using environmentally friendly insulation products, customers are saving our natural resources, while at the same time, lowering their utility bills. Using less energy helps everyone!

WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU?

  • It will never itch or irritate your skin, like fiberglass and mineral wool. If you have ever had fiberglass particles in your clothing, you know how important this is!
  • It contains a fire retardant chemical. A recent field study performed by an independent consultant and tests done by Underwriters Laboratory demonstrates a permanency of the fire retardant chemicals in aged samples collected from the attics of homes insulated as much as 14 years ago. Thirty-three tests were performed in 1993, and all aged samples passed the most stringent ASTM fire tests for attic insulation.
  • It is treated to make it RODENT and INSECT proof!
  • It has a lifetime limited warranty! Did you know that some other insulation products and companies only offer 60 or 90 day warranties?  Make sure you know what type of warranty comes with the insulation products and the company you choose!
  • Absorbs outside sounds better!
  • NCR test results show a .75 absorption rate due to the uniqueness of both the product and method of application.
  • Complies with all applicable industry standards and testing.
  • The test results indicate the stringent testing complies with guidelines set forth by U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission, American Society of Testing and Measurements (ASTM) and applicable Federal specifications.
  • It will not corrode aluminum or steel, which are commonly found in your attic.

WHAT MAKES LIGHT DENSITY DIFFERENT?

It is a safe, recycled, natural wood based insulation! This product is so unique that it has been patented. Other types of insulation, such as some mineral wool products, are manufactured by using man-made materials.

The following table shows the insulation values for a given thickness:
R-Value Thickness  Yield Per Bag Bag 1000 Sq. Ft. Weight per sq. ft.
R-11 2.973 97.028 sq. ft. 10.306 0.309
R-13 3.514 82.101 sq. ft. 12.180 0.365
R-19 5.135 56.174 sq. ft. 17.802 0.534
R-24 6.486 44.471 sq. ft. 22.486 0.675
R-26 7.027 41.050 sq. ft. 24.360  0.731
R-30 8.108 35.577 sq. ft. 28.108 0.843
R-32 8.649 33.353 sq. ft. 29.982 0.899
R-38 10.270 28.087 sq. ft. 35.604 1.068
R-40 10.811 26.683 sq. ft. 37.477 1.124

Based on applied density, nominal bag weight of 30 lb.. R-Value determined in accordance with ASTM C518. It is also tested for compliance with ASTM C1149, SS-S-111C, ASTM C-739

OUR INSULATING FIBERS ARE HOLLOW...
OUR CLAIMS ARE NOT!

The ultimate - safe and effective home insulation

Light Density insulation, has the unique characteristic of trapping air inside its fibers, as well as in between them. This is what gives Light Density insulation a higher R-Value of 3.7 per inch.

The Colorado Study

Architecture researchers at the University of Colorado conducted a study called the “Colorado Study”, which found that homes insulated with cellulose out performed the homes built with fiberglass as much as 38%. The shorter fibers fill all cracks and crevices thus acting as a solid blanket in your home's attic, and gives it a monolithic seal preventing air infiltration up to 40 degrees below zero. A claim that many other "loose fill" insulation manufacturers simply can't make!
